It is advisable to discontinue all medications, alpha methyldopa, MAO & COMT Inhibitors as well as medications related to Hypertension should be discontinued at least 72 hrs prior to specimen collection. If medications taken should be strictly on the advice of the referring physician, the same should be mentioned. Please freeze the specimen immediately after collection.
